Luminous Oak Academy

Build Update

Work is now well underway on the construction of Luminous Oak Academy, our 125-place academy near Eastleigh in Hampshire for 8-16 year-old children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The site team have taken full advantage of the sunny, dry weather over the summer to ensure the works have progressed well. The drainage works are complete, and the first section of the ground floor slab has been poured.

You can see from the photo below that the layout of the site is taking shape, with the multi-use games area on the top left-hand side of the picture, the car park and one-way system for minibuses and taxis at the bottom and the l-shaped footprint of the building in the middle.

During the next month the steel frame erection will commence, the playing field drainage will be installed and the pitch levels formed and seeded.
